Safari Blue Tour
This is a whole-day tour of snorkelling, swimming, sunbathing and a sea-food BBQ on a sandbank in the ocean.

At sunset, Forodhani Park on the seafront transforms into a social hub where locals gather to exercise, savor street food, and connect. Beyond Stone Town, Zanzibar’s lush landscapes are a haven for wildlife. Visit Jozani Forest, home to the endemic Red Colobus monkey, with a thriving population of around 3,500.
Just a 15-minute drive from our hotel is Eden Cove. Take a guided tour through the near-by village to witness the local life and arrive at a small and fabulous cove to witness fisher life.
For the adventurous, embark on the famous Zanzibar Safari Blue dhow and barbeque tour or take a guided tour aboard a traditional wooden catamaran, or ngarawa, often used by local fishermen. Enhance your snorkeling experience with a sailing excursion to explore the vibrant coral reefs nestled within the barrier. Or even learn to kite surf or dive.

Diving on Zanzibar is great all year round, under almost all weather conditions, and visibility of 15 to 35 metres is usual. Zanzibar has stunning coral gardens, habitat for approximately 350 fish species, is a pleasure for anyone that likes to be active in the water.

Dolphin Swim
The seas surrounding Kizimkazi on the South tip of Zanzibar are home to a large number of bottle-nosed and spinner dolphins. This is a rare opportunity to come really close to these fascinating animals and in 95% of the visits you will swim near them. After a couple of hours in the boat you will return to the beautiful beach of Kizimkazi, for a swim in the shallow waters.
Stone Town Tour
The local life in Stone Town is as vivid as the people who live much of their life on the streets– cooking food, playing boa, keeping their hens and socializing all day through. This tour shows you Stone Town far from the tourist traps. The tour allows you to stop on the way to explore the architecture and important landmarks. After the tour it is possible to do some shopping, take a coffee and lunch.

Prison Island
Prison Island is about 30 minutes by boat from Stone Town. Here you can visit the coral rag forest where giant tortoises, brought in from the Seychelles more than 100 years ago, amble through the trees. The powder white beaches are lovely for relaxation and the high visibility in the water allows for underwater exploration.

Taking part in a local festival will add to your Zanzibar holiday. Experiencing a festival will help you understand more about the history, culture, and traditions of the locals. Of course, they are also great fun.
Jozani Rainforest
]ozani Rainforest is a hot-spot of biodiversity and stunning scenery. The rainforest is home to a number of endemic species, including the Red Colobus Monkey, only found in Zanzibar, Blue Sykes Monkeys, elephant shrews and bush babies. On your half hour drive to Jozani you will pass several authentic villages and beautiful scenery.
Spice Tour
On a Zanzibar spice tour you will be given an insight into the local life and find tropical fruits, spices and rare species of plants. Learn about the properties and origins of each spice, and their use as medicines or in food and drink. Be sure to smell and taste everything on offer! Before returning to Villa Fleur de Lys you will enjoy a local Swahili dish for lunch.
Chwaka Bay. & Michamvi
Michamvi on the tip of this peninsula has a quiet and untouched beach where you can enjoy the pink / golden sunset over the bay. The beach of Michamvi is a piece of untouched landscape where the tranquility is striking, and is 45 minutes drive from the hotel. Either you can bring a picnic from the villa or eat at Sunset Bay Resort. If you fancy a boat trip the classic dhow sailing boat “Free Spirit” does sunset sails around Chwaka Bay.
